SOLO ACTS
MARK ABBOTT
This man juggles a bicycle! Wonderful juggling and circus skills
from Mark, delightfully funny street shows too.
MARIA LOUISA
This excellent Lebanese belly-dancer has worked at events all over the
world and is particularly known for her appearances on Carlton Television
as part of their station identification clips.
BARON VON
GRINDLE (VAMPIRE)
Using a specialist portable trapeze perch as his Baron's Domain,
he sleeps and stalks, with animalistic animatronic invertion, his imaginative
mortal prey! Also as DINGLE FINGLE in Clown Town Crime
Watch- a duo car chase arena act.
BERNIE BENNETT
Bernie has a superb, very funny and skilled low wire act that is suitable
for both indoor and outdoor venues. His equipment can be set up very quickly
and does not require inserting pins and stakes into the ground. Bernie
is also an accomplished stiltwalker and has a delightful stiltwalking
act complete with his stilt bicycle.
EMILE EPSTEIN
Expert juggler, stilt walker, unicyclist, tightrope artist and mime, Emile
comes in many disguises - Chromolly Man- the
android/alien/robot with communicative voice box, Funny
Bones - the dancing skeleton who spins his skull on a bony finger,
traditional Jester or Human Statue.
HELENA HATSTAND
Fire eating, stiltwalking, crystal ball contact juggling, whip cracking,
angle-grinding and masked mime are just some of the skills that HELENA
HATSTAND offers in her mix 'n' mingle or podium repertoire.
AMY THE
SWORD-SWALLOWER
The proverbial AMY is here to entertain you with a reputation for raunch
and a flair for the quintessential tongue-in-cheekiness society has managed
to provoke. Her skills include swallowing with a twist, fire-eating, the
Human Ashtray, tongue manipulation and other Bizarre Phenomenons.
BOB & BOB
JOBBINS
No other performer is quite like Andy! One of the great performance acts
around, see his marvellous mobile machines, and his very silly Naughtiest
Noise in the Galaxy booth - what ever next?
JASON MAVERICK
The brilliant robot dancer, juggler, unicyclist, muscleman, children's
entertainer, mime artist... phew! Jason is a regular member of the team
that put together Channel 5's wonderful HAVAKAZOO
- the morning children's programme which entranced younger children for
all of 168 editions!
PETE BAYNES
Jester, juggler, ukulele man and the impersonator of the astonishing OSTRICH
OSTRICH OSTRICH in which (by means of the largest floor mop in the world
and one wildly articulated arm) Pete turns himself into a wacky walking
ostrich.
ELECTRA
Pamela Sinclair (Rambert Academy, Desmond Jones School of Mime) presents
the Earth's most beautiful Robot. In the past, ELECTRA has been a Haagan
Daas Robot, an Armani Robot and even, once, a Virgin Robot. With her specially
amplified Robot Voice, she can verbally promote a product, personally
greet guests, or even sing 'Happy Birthday'.
RALPH LESLIE
One of the vastly experienced street performers whose superb act involves
juggling, fire, comedy unicycling, as well as being and extremely sought
after close-up magician.
CLARE MOP
Clare has many guises from the dynamic mix of circus skills and comedy
of Ms MOP to the elegant eccentricity of LADY MARGO - clowning with sophistication
and lots of madcap audience involvement.
JOHN LEE
Performer and teacher. This enormously likeable and funny entertainer
offers a solo show suitable for all venues. Johns ingenuity and talent
has earned him a huge reputation as a clown, slack wire walker and trick
cyclist.
TIM BAT
Seen everywhere. One of the best, his bowler hatted, umbrella clutching
character has represented Britain all over the world. Piles of TV exposure,
superb juggling, yo-yo, devil stick, with close-up magic bits!
STEVE RAWLINGS
One of the most exciting and well-known jugglers around today, Steve works
his audiences with consummate skill and charm. A real delight to watch...breathtaking
skill and truly great comedy.
MAT RICARDO
Juggling & Fire & Comedy. See him yank a table-cloth from below
a fully laid table without a single, solitary breakage. As seen on TV.
